Barbara Dooley

If you don’t already know about Barbara Dooley . . . well, where have you been?

Recognized in both Athens and throughout the Southeast—and the college football world—as one of the wittiest, most entertaining women around, Barbara has taken on the real estate world much like her husband Vince did the coaching world: head-on and at full speed.

Armed with a cadre of stories about her life as a businesswoman, football wife, politician and in-demand motivational speaker, Barbara brings her tenaciousness to her newest business venture with typical strength, humor and compassion rolled into one. Her motto—make the best of any situation, and find a way to laugh about it—serves her well in real estate, and it will serve you well as a client.

Any meetings with Barbara will contain lots of energy, lots of humor, and lots of information. Perfectly complimented in real estate by her two partners, she is truly the straw that stirs the drink.

Brandon McEachern

Brandon joined the Upchurch Realty family in 2004 after 10 years with the University of Georgia Athletic Association. At UGA, one of Brandon's main tasks was serving as the travel coordinator for the Dawgs' football team.

In the summer of 2004, he worked with the NFL's Atlanta Falcons as a camp logistics assistant. Performing these jobs successfully helped refine Brandon's ability to emphasize attention to detail. In addition, being involved with winning teams has instilled the competitive spirit and goal-oriented mindset that he applies toward assisting each and every client.

Brandon's background in real estate is extensive, as well, as he hails from a family of builders and real estate investors. His knowledge of the Athens and Oconee areas comes as second nature, since he has lived in the Classic City for nearly 15 years.

Brandon is part of the top-producing BBG Team within the Upchurch company. The team members include McEachern, Geoff Wilson, and Barbara Dooley. Geoff Wilson

Geoff returns to Athens most recently from Charleston, S.C., in 2006, where he worked in the real estate business in a different capacity—vacation rentals. It’s a return to the Classic City, where he spent four years from 1994-98 and obtained his Master’s degree in Mass Communication in 1996.

Although his background is in journalism—and sports journalism in particular—Geoff’s professional experience is varied and wide-ranging . . . his writing has appeared in the Washington Post, he’s worked for a national baseball magazine, and he’s worked in other parts of the publishing industry as well. But real estate is the profession where he’s found his home.

And Athens is home. Though born in California, raised in Memphis, and armed with an undergraduate degree in English from Clemson, Geoff is a Georgian at heart. He lives in Athens with his wife, Reagan, whom he was fortunate to meet on a blind date. His jack-of-all-trades approach helps him stay pliable in the real estate world, so when things change on a dime during the contract process—which they inevitably will—he’s unfazed and ready to help guide you through the potential pitfalls of the deal as smoothly as possible.
